About MoU

In yet another significant milestone in the academic field of AI and Cyber Security, Doon University has signed an MoU with International Center for AI and Cyber Security Research and Innovation Asia University CCRIAU, Taiwan for enhancement of academic and research collaboration between the two institutes on Aug 10, 2023. While of tremendous benefit to students and research scholars of Doon University, the MoU facilitates jointly enhancing of cooperation between the two institutes in the field of artificial intelligence, cyber security, machine learning, internet of things, computer vision, health care, mobile security, cloud security, adversarial machine learning and var In his address on the occasion of the MoU signing ceremony here, CCRI Asia University, Taiwan Director Professor Brij B Gupta said that Doon University will be the first university in this state where International Conference in cyber security and AI domain will be organized in collaboration with Asia University Taiwan in the coming year. Addressing the students and researchers, he said that students can apply for many fellowships to pursue research internship program and student exchange in Taiwan such as Taiwan International Internship Program (IIP) Fellowship, Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) Fellowship, and Asia University Research funding. Faculty exchange program is also be provisioned under this MoU whereby the faculty of Doon University will be able to go to Asia University Taiwan and the faculty there will come for teaching in Doon University. The collaboration will be able to give multifarious results from which the students will be benefited. Advance Cyber Security Research Lab in Department of Computer Science, Doon University, has been established with a purpose to train the students in cyber security. This MoU will also facilitate the students pursuing cyber security and AI projects in their respective B.Sc (Computer Science) / B.Tech / MTech / Ph.D (Computer Science and Engineering) programme, to avail research internships opportunities to study in Taiwan's university for 3 to 6 months. In addition, under this MoU, cooperation and participation can be ensured in organizing workshops, national and international seminars and international conferences on topics of common interest related to cyber security and artificial intelligence.
